At Smile 4 Me we guarantee that you will be the only patient receiving treatment during your appointment time.
We ask that you do not arrive without an appointment and all appointments will be scheduled to accommodate social distancing. These are truly unique times that we are all living through and we will do what we can to alleviate any of your concerns.
Staining of the teeth from coffee, tea, wine or even some foods can make your smile not as bright as you would like it. Surface stain can be removed with dental polishing during a regular dental appointment. If the stain has caused a more permanent discolouration then whitening can help to improve your smile.
Not everyone is a candidate for tooth whitening but if this is something you are interested in we can definitely evaluate your smile.
I love to see children in my practice. As a mother of 3 myself with years of experience volunteering with children I enjoy making all their experiences in the office a pleasant one. If you have any concerns regarding your child and their visit to the office please feel free to discuss it prior to their appointment.
We will assist you with completing all the paperwork necessary for your insurance company. Please bring all the details with you to your first visit.
Fluoride treatments are an effective way to reduce the risk of tooth decay. The topical application of fluoride during a dental appointment can help improve your chances of not getting cavities.
Pit and Fissure Sealants
When the groves on the teeth are naturally deeper making it difficult to clean effectively the use of pit and fissure sealants can help to reduce the risk of decay. Pit and fissure sealants are applied to the deep groves to seal out the bacteria that may cause decay.
We all know the dangers of sports and concussions. An effective way to reduce this risk is through the wearing of a sports guard. A custom fit sports guard is usually more comfortable to wear than a store purchased one. Ask about it during your visit.
Plaque and calculus form on the teeth and can irritate the gum tissue causing gingivitis. The scaling of teeth to remove the plaque and calculus can reverse gingivitis.
When regular dental hygiene care is not received the build up on the teeth can allow the gingivitis to progress to periodontal disease which leads to bone loss that is not reversible.
Regular dental cleanings are an important part of the overall health of your mouth.

I have enjoyed working in the dental profession for 28 years. Starting out as an office helper and progressing to a dental assistant and Office Manager. It seemed natural to continue that progression and I decided to attend Canadore College for Dental Hygiene.
I graduated from Canadore College with an honours diploma in Dental Hygiene in 1999 and have enjoyed practicing in a variety of dental environments for the past 21 years.
I believe everyone deserves a healthy smile and will strive to help you achieve that goal.
Whether you have never had your teeth professionally cleaned or visit an office for regular care I will strive to provide you with gentle and professional services.
